Using de-bAIt

Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the de-bAIt website, waitlist, and links to our supporter program.

Effective August 15, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing de-bait.com, joining the waitlist, or using a feature we provide, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information.

2. A product in development

de-bAIt is currently in development. Descriptions, demonstrations, scores, graphics, timelines, and planned features show our present direction and may change. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee admission to a beta, a particular launch date, continuous availability, or delivery of any specific feature.

AI-generated analysis can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or misleading. Important claims and decisions should be checked against reliable primary sources.

3. Informational use only

de-bAIt is intended to help audiences understand arguments and debate tactics. Its analysis, scores, fact checks, and verdicts are informational and opinion-based outputs, not statements of legal fact and not legal, medical, financial, electoral, academic, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for how you interpret and use the information.

4. Waitlist and communications

When you join the waitlist, you authorize us to send product, beta, and launch updates to the email address you provide. You can unsubscribe at any time using an unsubscribe link in a message or by emailing hello@de-bait.com. You agree to provide an address you are authorized to use.

5. Support and memberships

Support payments and memberships are offered through Ko-fi and processed by its payment providers, including Stripe. Their terms and privacy policies also apply. Prices, renewal information, benefits, cancellation terms, and the refund policy shown at Ko-fi checkout form the specific terms of a membership. If those specific membership terms conflict with this general page, the membership terms shown at checkout control for that transaction.

Some benefits depend on development progress or the opening of future services such as a beta or community space. Unless a specific written date is provided at checkout, those benefits are not promised by a fixed date. Material changes to paid benefits will be communicated to affected members.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to submit information through this site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the site only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must also satisfy Ko-fi’s and the payment provider’s age and eligibility requirements to make a payment or purchase a membership.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the site or future services to:

  • break the law, violate another person’s rights, or facilitate fraud or harassment;
  • submit malicious code, overload or disrupt systems, bypass access controls, or interfere with other users;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent the source, accuracy, or endorsement of content;
  • extract or use content in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights; or
  • use de-bAIt outputs as the sole basis for a high-impact decision about another person.

8. Intellectual property

The de-bAIt name, visual identity, site design, copy, graphics, software, and original materials are owned by or licensed to de-bAIt and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may link to public pages and share official public materials using the tools we provide, but may not remove notices, falsely claim ownership, or commercially reproduce substantial portions without permission.

9. Third-party services and links

The site may link to Formspree, Ko-fi, Stripe, social networks, sources, and other services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service’s terms.

10. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the site or a pre-release service. We may also restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or a violation of these terms.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and all pre-release features are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, de-bAIt and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or losses resulting from reliance on an analysis or verdict. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.

14. Applicable law and disputes

Applicable law governs these terms. Any dispute must be brought in a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction, unless the parties agree to another permitted resolution process. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived.

15. Contact
